He is survived by: his parents, Ruben Garcia and Rosa Garcia (Moreno); his children, Tiffany Byrd of Houston, Tosha Noel (Mike) of New Hampshire, Andrea Garcia (Paul Seely) of Boston, Mass, Jeff Garcia of Boston, Tayler Polikoff of Austin, Zachary Garcia of Tacoma and Nicolas Rooks of Houston; and his siblings, Ruben Garcia, Jr. (Kathleen) of San Diego, Calif and Ruth Nelson (David) of College Station. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
