He was predeceased by: his wife Rosie Ruiz; his mother Maria Ruiz; and his brother Julian Orosco. He is survived by: his daughters, Monica Cuevas (Luis) and Kelly Posada (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Ashley Morales (Gilbert), Robert Cuevas, Malorie Ramos (Jose), Valerie Cuevas (Julian Castillo), Jeremy Posada Jr. and Luis Cuevas Jr.; his great grandchildren, Malachi Cuevas, Gilbert Morales II, Altuve Morales, Alejandro Castillo, Kortez Morales, Jaii'leigh Ramos and J'aylah Ramos; and his siblings, Bacilio Orosco, Rachel Harrison and Melinda Cuellar.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Trevino Funeral Home (401 W Springer St, Beeville, TX 78102). A rosary will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 7:00 PM to 7:45 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint James Catholic Church (605 S Alta Vista Blvd, Beeville, TX 78102). A burial will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 11:15 AM to 12:00 PM at the San Pedro Cemetery (5077 Kinkler Ln, Beeville, TX 78102).
