It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rafela Benitez Cuevas (Beeville, Texas), who passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ysidro Benitez and Elosia Montemayor Benitez; her husband Presiliano Cuevas, Sr.; and her sister Estella Benitez Rojas. She is survived by: her children, Adeliada, Betty Serna (Joel) and Presiliano; her granddaughters, Ashley Muller, Amy Gomez, Yvonne Serna, Amanda of Colorado, Selena Rodriguez and Sara Cuevas; her great grandchildren, Amber Escandon, Cameron Muller, Isaac, Isaiah Muller, Aubrey Hernandez, Ayden of Colorado, Adalynn of Colorado, Avery Rodriguez and Eloy Rodriguez, Jr.; her great great grandchildren, Rylan Diaz and Alayna Escandon; and her siblings, Delia Madrigal, Santos Suniga (Jose), Marcela Guerrero (Cruz) and Esmerlda Trevino (Tony). She is also survived by family to her six granddaughters, 10 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren, her family and friends.
