He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Doty and Agnes Delaney Doty; his brother Mike Doty; and his nephew Michael Fogler. He is survived by: his children, Jody Doty (Stephen Kowald), Mary Jane Benitez and Pete Doty (Sunni); his sister Mary Ann Fogler; his grandchildren, Ariana Moczygemba, Austin Olivares, Anissa Olivares, Delaney Kowald, Ava Lily Kowald, Paige Doty and Holly Doty; his niece Kate Fogler Groschel; and his great-niece Alexandra Delaney Groschel.
A rosary was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (609 E Gramman St, Beeville, TX 78102). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
