She was predeceased by: her parents, Modesto Castillo and Estefania Castillo (DeLeon); and her husband Clarence Cardwell. She is survived by: her children, Avelino Cardwell of Jacksonville, Jaime Cardwell of Jacksonville, Richard Cardwell of Beeville, Clarence Cardwell Jr. of Miami, Florida, Maria Cardwell of Houston, Angela Jensen of Houston and Leona Krueger of Skidmore; her sister Aminta of Araujo; and her grandchildren, Erica Branch, Lino Cardwell, Diana Cardwell, Stephanie Cardwell, Angelina Cardwell, Niki Bickings, Brandon Smith, Kyle Jensen, Ricardo Cardwell Jr., Brian Cardwell, Alia Jensen and Patrick Krueger.
