It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Olivia Vela of Beeville, Texas, who passed away on May 11, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisco Escobedo and Anita Ramirez; and her former husband Tomas Vela, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Frank Vela of Robstown, Tomas Vela, Jr. of Robstown, Johnny Vela of Houston, Joe Vela (Jennifer) of Beeville, Rachel Vela (Isaias Ramirez) of Beeville, Patricia Banda, Marie Reyes (Jose) and Rosie Vela of Houston. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
