He was predeceased by: his parents, Coleman Wayne Lamb and Ruby Beatrice Lamb (Shinault); his grandson Nicholas Kye Lamb; his wife Collene Lamb; and the mother of his children Pauline Caldwell.
He is survived by: his children, Jeri Baker (Scott) of Corpus Christi, Cheryl Stewart (Pat Simpson) of Houston, Jackie Lamb of Bastrop, Denise Scott (Dickie) of Beeville and James Lamb (Susan) of Beeville; and his grandchildren, Dustin Baker, Ryan Baker, Kristen Pickhartz, Roy John Stewart Jr., Jeremy Byrd, Jessi Martinez, Ashley Becker, John Scott V, Brian Lamb, John Coleman Lamb and Peyton Lamb. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
