She was predeceased by: her husband Sid Malone; her son Mike Malone; her son-in-law Mark Rector; her grandson Travis Turner; her parents, Louis Strauss and Frances Scott; and her stepfather James F. Scott.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patti Turner (George) of Sugar Land, Day Lohse (Carroll) of Beeville and Monna Rector of Sugar Land; her sister-in-law Ann Malone Winkle (Morris) of Round Rock; her grandchildren, Stacy Mattison (Greg), George Turner Jr. (Sasha), John Abel Jr., Grant Turner, Mark Rector Jr. and Andrew Rector; her great grandchildren, Piper, Peyton Mattison, Caleb Abel, Lincoln, Harrison and Truman Turner; and her nieces, Monna Kellam, Joan Franks, Sally Frazier and Shannon Middleton.
