It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Manuel Zavala Maldonado of Beeville, Texas, who passed away on August 22, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco B. Maldonado and Fermana Z. Maldonado; his daughter Melissa Ruth Maldonado; and his stepson Carlos Ramirez. He is survived by: his children, Victor Manuel Maldonado (Monica Cabrera) and Valerie Rose Vasquez (John Vasquez); his close friend Griselda Verduzco; his grandchildren, Patrick Manuel Prieto, Melissa Ramirez, Jesus Alejandro Martinez and Ariel Ramirez; and also, Phillip Ramirez and Robert Ramirez. He is also survived by his five sisters, two brothers, and lots of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
