He was predeceased by: his parents, Cirio Rodriguez, and Lilia Rodriguez, Sr.; his parents-in-law, Antonio and Mary Barrera; his son-in-law Adrian Acevedo; his granddaughter Larissa Rodriguez; his niece Yvette Rodriguez; his nephew Alfredo Cuellar Jr.; and his siblings-in-law, Yvonne Rodriguez, Tony Barrera and Johnny Barrera.
He is survived by: his former wife Maria Rodriguez (Lupita); his wife Lupita Rodriguez; his children, Luis Rodriguez, Jr. (Amanda Perez), John Rodriguez (Doreen), Cindy Gonzales, Sr. (Joe) and Annette Acevedo; his siblings, Rene Rodriguez of Victoria Tx, Cirio Rodriguez (Erma) of Beeville, Rogelio Rodriguez of Austin and Rita Carabajal Sr. (Fernando) of Austin; and his siblings-in-law, Sylvia Ramirez (Tomas) of Lolita and Mark Barrera (Lila) of Beeville. He is also survived by 21 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren.
