It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Hadden of Beeville, Texas, who passed away on April 28, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton McCraig and Ruby McCraig (Toliver); her brothers, Don, Ralph and Ron McCraig; her niece Teresa McCraig; and her nephew Ricky McCraig.

She is survived by: her daughters, Sharee' Coleman (Terrell), Rochelle Hadden (Adam), Kristi Hadden (Tamara) and Shauniece Hadden (Brad); her grandchildren, Kendrick Hadden, Jaren Hadden, Peyton Hadden, Jeremiah Coleman, Kare and Nai Hadden; her great grandchild Chesney Long; and her nieces and nephews, Don McCraig (Danyell), Ralph McCraig, Miguel Medina, Donna McCraig, Cheryl Taylor (Jon), Sherry Mata and Patricia McCraig.

“In loving memory of Karen Hadden, May your heart and soul find peace and comfort. Karen was a very active and productive member of the Bee County Historical Commission. She worked hard on the Bethlehem, St. Rose, Lott Canada and VFW 818 projects. She was a student of history and she was gracious in sharing her knowledge. I also remember her playing the piano with the wonderful choir. Her spirit will live on with us. I am grateful for her service and her friendship. Barbara Welder”
