She was predeceased by: her parents, Vidal Barrientes and Simona Barrientes (Sepeda); her spouse Rufino Ojeda Sr.; her son Rufino Ojeda Jr.; and her sisters, Marta Sanchez and Ysabel Barrientes.
She is survived by: her daughter Maria Herrera of San Antonio; and her sister Rosa Cantu of Runge. She is also survived by six grandchildren.
