He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Pedro, Senaida Montemayor of Beeville, TX, Gilbert and Juanita Salinas Sr. of Lubbock, TX.. He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his sons, Ian and Joshua; his parents, Santiago Montemayor (Jimmy) and Margarita Montemayor of Beeville, TX; his brother Timothy Montemayor (Anne) of Victoria, TX; his in-laws, Alfredo and Mary Rendon of Beeville, TX; and his siblings-in-law, Alfredo Rendon Jr. of Beeville, TX, Rita Gonzales (Aaron) of Buda, TX and Laura Soliz (Joseph) of Beeville, TX.. He is also survived by five nephews, two nieces and two great nieces.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Oak Park Memorial. A rosary was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (609 E Gramman St, Beeville, TX 78102). A burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Beeville Memorial Park Cemetery (59 S East St, Beeville, TX 78102).
