He is survived by: his wife Adelina Martinez; his children, Derlina Villegas (Constantino) of Calallen, Susie Ann Gomez of Calallen, Arthur Derlin Gomez of Irving, Joseph Michael Gomez (Ida) of Kyle and Derlin Albert Gomez of New Braunfels; and his siblings, Fernando Gomez (Josie) of Gregory, Charles Gomez (Ruth) of San Antonio, Rey Gomez (Zulema) of Sugar Land, Joe Luis Gomez of Beeville and Irma Solis (Juan) of Corpus Christi. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; 12 godsons; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
