It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Turnbow (Beeville, Texas), born in Mount Pleasant, Texas, who passed away on April 15, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Thomas and Willie Mae Turnbow (Musgrove); his brother John Turnbow; and his former wife Mary Jane (Ramirez). He is survived by: his wife Diana (Dugat Braly); his stepdaughters, Anita English (Marty) and Alice Whitley (Mike); his brother Wesley Turnbow (Sonia); his sons, Robert (Sheila) and David Turnbow (Rachel); his stepchildren, Stephen Gruy and Lucy Williams (Marion); and his grandchildren, Elizabeth Williams (Adam Muhlig), Gene Williams (Sonya), Lela Muzquiz (Alberto), Kate Jaceldo (Ted) and Stephen Gruy (Elizabeth). He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
Due to the dangers and restrictions in response to the coronavirus there are no immediate plans for a funeral service beyond a private burial for the immediate family.
