He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesus Casarez and Elena Casarez (Martinez); his children, Linda Casarez and Daniel Rendon; and his grandson Michael Eric Rendon.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Casarez of Beeville; his children, Yolanda Bazan (Eliseo) of Victoria, Sylvia Alvarado of Beeville, Elsa Rendon of Victoria and Michael Casarez (Melanie) of Victoria; his brother-in-law Rodolfo Castaneda (Santos) of Beeville; and his sister Cristela Rodriguez of Houston. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
