He was predeceased by: his parents, Humberto Saenz, Sr. and Elvira Saenz; his wife Anita Saenz; his son Santiago "Jimmy" Castro; his grandson Christopher Dominguez; and his siblings, Hubaldo "Johnny" Saenz, Esmeraldo "Lal" Saenz and Julia Aguirre.

He is survived by: his children, Arnoldo Saenz, Humberto Saenz III, Marisela Reyes (Moses) and Joel Balderamos; and his granddaughter Amber Berdan.

Humberto was recognized by the city of Beeville, a testament to his impact and contribution to his beloved city.
