She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicolas F. Medrano and Rafaelita Cantu; her husband Lupe Leal; and her siblings, Mamie Rubio, Mathilda Bernal, Ursula Galvan, Julia Solis, Rafaela Hassler, Ofelia Harbach, Hilda Baldez, Rafael Medrano and Julian Luna.
She is survived by: her children, John Leal (Melinda) of Beeville, Texas and Gloria Olvera (Lupe) of Victoria, Texas; her brother Ruben Medrano of Killeen, Texas; her grandchildren, Kristen Miller (Michael) of Woodlands, Christopher Leal of Round Rock, Kelly Olvera of Richmond and Sarah Martorell (Marty Garza) of Beeville, Texas; and her great grandchildren, Avery Miller, Brayden Martorell, Baylie Mille and Brodie Leal.
