He is survived by: his wife Julia Zamudio Lopez of Lagarto; his sons, Freddy Lopez (Sylvia) of Beeville, Ronnie Lopez (Sandra) of Adkins and Eric Lopez (Tina) of Corpus Christi; his grandchildren, Jolene Hackfeld (Brandin), Blythe, Quisto, Stratton, Braylon, Penelope and Ellani Lopez; his great grandchild Avery Hackfeld; his siblings, Rosalio Lopez (Leonor), Bernardino Lopez (Amelia), Elida Ramos and Duvelsa Hernandez; his grandson Brandin Hackfeld; his brother Benardino Lopez; and his close friends, Henry Fletcher, Luis Galvan, Joe Garcia, Jesse Del Toro and Fidencio Lopez, Jr.. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
