She was predeceased by: her parents, Felipe Alaniz and Maria Alaniz (Garcia); her son Victor Salazar, Jr.; and her sister Elma Salinas. She is survived by: her husband Victor G. Salazar of Beeville; her son Roland Salazar, Sr. (Elda) of Beeville; her grandchildren, Roland Salazar, Jr., Victoria Salazar and Artest Salazar; and her sister-in-law Senaida Brown (Joe) of Beeville. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
