He is survived by: his children, Jose Esteban Puentes of Skidmore, Rebecca Gonzales (Daniel) of Skidmore and Bitsy Chavarria (Benny, Jr) of Skidmore; his grandchildren, Linda Gutierrez (Dylan Rakowitz) of Beeville, Cindi Ramirez (John) of Skidmore, Clarissa Chavarria of Skidmore and Joseph Chavarria (Denise Solis) of Mineral; and his great grandchildren, Natalie Ramirez, Riley Gutierrez and Mia Chavarria. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
