She was predeceased by: her parents, John Orion Goodson and Prudie Texanna Dennis Goodson. She is survived by: her husband Joe Vernon; her sister Mollie Williams (Arlie) of Lamesa; her children, Sarah McKinney (Ellis) of Beeville, David Vernon (Susanna) of Round Rock and Rachel Hoff (Ronnie) of Three Rivers; her grandchildren, Bethany Vernon, Joshua Vernon (Tiffany), Maggie McKinney, Mollie McKinney, Morgan McKinney, Paige McKinney, Heather Henderson (John) and Claire McKinney; her great grandchild Peyton Jones; and her sister-in-law Ruth Scarborough of Lamesa. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
