It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eliseo Cantu of Beeville, Texas, born in Raymondville, Texas, who passed away on August 10, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Cantu and Santos Cantu; and his wife Ausencia Cantu. He is survived by: his children, Elloy Cantu (Nancy) of St. Paul, Eliseo (Calallen) and Elilah Cavazos (David) of Sugar Land; and his siblings, Viola Garcia of San Antonio, Juanita Rodriguez of Beeville, Olga Moreno of Sugar Land, Mary Rendon (Fred) of Beeville, Diana Ramirez (Chris) of Raymondville, Alice Cervantes (Robert) of Harlingen, Ralph Cantu of Houston and Richard Cantu of Harlingen. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
