He was predeceased by: his parents, Aurora Vidaurri and Jesus Gomez Jr.; and his brother Juan Gabriel Gomez of Beeville. He is survived by: his wife Janie Gomez; his children, Victor Gomez (Linda Mae) of Beeville and Cynthia Kaye Moreno (Oscar Javier) of San Antonio; his sisters, Elva Bernal of Beeville and Patricia Gonzalez of Beeville; and his grandchildren, Benjamin Gomez of Waco, Matthew Gomez of Beeville and Alayna Rose Moreno of San Antonio.
