She was predeceased by: her parents, Simplicio Alaniz and Petrita Jaramillo Alaniz; her husband Ben Trevino; and her siblings, Eustorgio, Emiliano, Simplicio Jr., Cruz Sr., Cresencio, Inocencio, David, Reynaldo Alaniz, Mary A. Ortega, Olivia A. Benavidez, Adelaida A. De Russe and Olivia Gutierrez.

She is survived by: her children, Rosie Trevino Garza and Sammy Trevino (Susan); her grandson Jesse Garza Jr.; and her sister Petrita Alaniz Sanchez.
