He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Joaquin (Maria Reyna); his siblings, Esteban Reyna of Abilene, Janie Reyna of Houston, Texas., Antonia Garza, Herminia Benavidez of Kyle, Robert Reyna of Aurora and Enrique Reyna of Fort Collins, Colorado.; his wife Herminia "Minnie" Benavidez of Beeville; his children, Gilbert, Patricia, Rebecca and Gerald; and his mother Day. He was also cherished by His spouse, brothers and sisters, sons and daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Domingo G. Reyna battled Parkinson's disease for several years after exposure to Agent Orange during the Vietnam War. He was determined to make a personal contribution to the ongoing research into causes, treatments, and cures for neurodegenerative disorders related to Parkinson's.
The family asks in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Brain Support Network on his behalf.
