She is survived by: her husband Eddie Armont of Portland; her sons, Anthony (Darby Armont) and James (Rachael Armont); her grandchildren, Sevannha, Michael, Anthony, Marissa and Alexa; and her brother James "Bo" Howard Thurmond of Missouri City, Texas..

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Beeville Memorial Park (2521 US-59, Beeville, TX 78102).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in Dolores Jean Armont's memory at the First United Methodist Church of Portland.
