He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvino Puga, Sr. and Ignacia V. Puga (Villarreal); and his siblings, Alvino Puga, Jr., Benito Puga, Sr., Alberto Puga, Sr., Arturo Puga, Adolfo Puga and Genoveva Puga Villegas (Beva).
He is survived by: his wife Dolores M. Puga; his son Marcos Montez Puga; his sister Alvina Puga Garcia (Domingo Sr.) of Beeville; his former wife Guadalupe N. Puga; and his children, Adela Puga Amador (David), Carlos Puga, Rebecca Puga Abrigo (David), Ena Puga Cruz (Alvin), Ester Puga Moreno (Frank), Leonardo Puga (JoAnn), Jaime Puga and Efrain Puga (Gracie). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
