She is survived by: her husband Jorge Mario Benitez; her children, Andrea Rachelle Benitez, Jorge Mario Benitez Jr. and Gabriel Lee Benitez; her grandchildren, Autumn Bailee Benitez and Colton Rone Benitez; her pets, Sweet Dee, Enjoli and Lola; and her siblings, Gregorio Cano, Sr. (Berta), Omar Cano, Sr., Miguel Cano, Sr. (Estella), Noel Cano, Sr., Prajedes Rodriguez Jr., Feliciano Cano, Sr. (Estrella), Eufemia Benitez (Ramiro), Virginia Caballero (Mike), Margarita Moreno, Rose Marie Arredondo, Elidora Garza, Baudelia Guerra and Maria Pacheco.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Oak Park Memorial (4599 US-181 BUS, Beeville, TX 78102). A rosary was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (609 E Gramman St, Beeville, TX 78102). A burial was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Beeville Memorial Park Cemetery (59 S East St, Beeville, TX 78102).
