He was predeceased by: his wife Dubelsa M. Vasquez; his parents, Santos Vasquez and Eugenia L. Vasquez; his granddaughter Alisha Yogi Gomez; and his brothers, Julian, Raymond, Jesse and Santos Vasquez Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Orlando Vasquez (Tristen), John Vasquez (Melissa) and Velma Gutierrez (Rick); his grandchildren, Steven Vasquez, Eric Vasquez, Trevor Gutierrez (Rachel), Sarah Vasquez, Jacob Vasquez, Lily Grace, Isabella Gutierrez, Trey Martinez, Ryann Martinez and Brock Martinez; his great grandchild Drew Vasquez; and his siblings, Ignacio Vasquez, Moses Vasquez and Linda Pena.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Saint James Catholic Church (605 S Alta Vista Blvd, Beeville, TX 78102). A rosary was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM at the Latin American Cemetery (1300 Helena St, Runge, TX 78151).
