He was predeceased by: his parents, Pablo Gonzales and Josefina Peña Gonzales; his siblings, Lorraine and Israel Gonzales; his nephew Israel Gonzales Jr.; and his brothers-in-law, Johnny Saenz, Orlando Alvarez and John Piña.
He is survived by: his wife Florinda Gonzales; his children, Abelardo Gutierrez (Abie), Marissa Gutierrez and David Gonzales; and his sisters, Mary Saenz, Cynthia Alvarez, Suzy Pina and Sylvia Lee. He is also survived by two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
