He was predeceased by: his parents, L. D. Coffey and Eunice J. Coffey (Jacobs); his brother William Henry Coffey; his in-laws, Leroy Fitzgerald and Marie Fitzgerald; his sister-in-law Doris Cochran; and his great great grandchild Heath Lane Gisler.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Coffey (Fitzgerald); his children, Lisa Coffey, Laura Parker, Lloyd David Coffey Jr. and Lynn Catchings (Stephen); his sister Paulette Humphrey (Bob); his sisters-in-law, Gail Sample (John) and Dina Berry; and his grandchildren, Heather Musick (Cody), Brittany Simmons, Myles Parker (Emily), Lonnie Grover (Jeff), Dylan Coffey, Amanda Bond (Garrett), Dalton Parker (Stormie), Ethan Zissa, Wyatt Catchings and Lloyd David "Dave" Coffey III. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Galloway & Sons Funeral Home (409 N Tyler St, Beeville, TX 78102). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Beeville Memorial Park (2521 US-59, Beeville, TX 78102).
