He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisca Growing (Garcia) and Daniel Rojas Sr. Growing; his wife Eugenia Rojas; and his siblings, Maria Siufuentes, Enriqueta Tijerina, Ermelinda Ortega, Blas, Benjamin, Erasmo, Francisco, Jose, Onofre and Arturo Rojas.

He is survived by: his sons, Daniel C. and David; and his sister Ermila Canales. He is also survived by three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
