With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carlyle Ward Franklin of Beeville, Texas, born in Lampasas, Texas, who passed away on August 12, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Verna Mae Franklin (Daniels) and William Carter Franklin; his daughter Carla Kay Franklin; and his siblings, Barbara Ann Franklin, Louise Holder, Bernice Conners, Randolph Franklin and James Franklin.
He is survived by: his wife Maxine Franklin of Beeville; his daughter Tina Louise McGuill (Andrew) of Blanconia; his grandchildren, Laura Jirkovsky (Nick) of Victoria and Anthony McGuill of Brenham; his great grandchild Isabelle Jirkovsky; and his siblings, Ora Mae Johns of Austin and Clyde Franklin (Melva) of Florida. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
