She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Edward Staples Sr. and Lois Lucille Staples (Gilbert); and her husband Don Zimmerman. She is survived by: her daughters, Melissa Brader Anderson (Jeremy) of Beeville and Tanna K. Strong (Billy) of Tennessee; her grandchildren, Cody Morales of Rockport, Emily Morales (Mike Eyeington) of Palacios, Alex Dowd (Emma) of Killeen, Brittany Thompson (Chris) of North Carolina, Baily Williams (Jaime) of North Carolina and Tabitha Strong of Tennessee; her great grandchildren, Lucy Jo, Braidyn, Jackson, Mason, Oliver, Natalie and Chellie; and her siblings, Shirley Lee, Norma Stephenson, Walter E. Staples Jr. and Wanda Huth.
