He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lillian II and Arthur Payne Smith II; his former wife Mary Ann Meador; his wife Mary Ann Smith of Beeville; his children, Anndrea Smith Soto (Jason) of Schertz and Arthur Alexander Smith of Beeville; his stepson John Eric Lewis of Houston; his brother-in-law James Meador of Mathis; and his grandchildren, Arie Smith, Scarlett Soto and Caleb Soto.
