He was predeceased by: his parents, Anselmo Garcia, Sr. and Celia Galvez Garcia; his siblings, Ruben Garcia, Gloria Perez, Joe Luis Garcia and Benito Garcia; and his stepson Frank G. Riojas.
He is survived by: his daughter Anne Marie Garcia (Jorge Astorga, Jr.) of Washington, DC; his stepson Dr. Jesse G. Riojas (Marilu); his granddaughter Yadhira Faith Eguia of Mathis; his former wife Lucille Garcia of Beeville, Texas.; and his siblings, Yolanda, Sylvia, David, Willie, Enoe, Freddy, Rene, Belinda and Sandra. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Angelus Funeral Home (1100 E Houston St, Beeville, TX 78102). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church (707 N Ave E, Beeville, TX 78102).
