He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfredo Chavarria Sr. and Maria Cuellar; his brother Johnny Chavarria; and his daughter Maggie Maria Chavarria Morgan. He is survived by: his wife Norma Perez; his brother Gustavo "Gus" Chavarria; his grandson Cody Morgan; his stepdaughters, Marisol Herlinda Herrera, Melissa Herrera and Precious Chapa; his daughter-in-law Vanessa Hurtado; and his stepsons, Mark Mata, Lupe Altamirano and Jose Ramos. He is also survived by 1 grandchild and 12 great-grandchildren.
