He was predeceased by: his father Benito Perez; his siblings, Guadalupe Guerra, Joann Webb, Joe-Pete and Benito Perez, Jr.; and his parents-in-law, Ramon and Alicia Garcia.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Alicia Perez (Garcia); his children, Robert Perez of Victoria, Christopher of Beeville, Nazerath of Beeville, Ezara of Beeville, Abraham Perez of Beeville, Crystal Perales (James) of Victoria, Melissa Moreno (David) of Beeville, Melinda Tapia (Richard) of Beeville and Myra Falcon (Cesario) of Beeville; his siblings, Mary Pat Sandobal of Austin, Dolores Lira of Corpus Christi, Janie Davila (Estella Vasquez) of Goliad, Sylvia Olson (Dwight) of California, Wanda Garcia (Lionel) of Goliad, Martha Perez of Pt, Ernesto Perez (Elisa) of Goliad, Mario Perez of Pennsylvania, Johnny Ray Perez of Victoria and Carlos Perez (Laura) of Goliad; and his goddaughter Raelynn Edison. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
