It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Aldie Watson Phillips of Beeville, Texas, born in Comanche, Texas, who passed away on August 26, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Shad S. Phillips and Alta V. Phillips (Moore); his wife Sue Phillips; his daughter Serelda Johnson; his sisters, Ozell Ramos and Carolyn Klaeger; and his sons-in-law, Walton Johnson and Larry Lopez.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandra Wright (Walter) of Alba, Pam Capps (Johnny) of Cameron and Cindy Lopez of Beeville; his sister Charlotte Isbell of San Antonio; and his grandchildren, Walter A. Wright (Kristy), Brett Wright (Kristi), Dana Hixson (Doug), R. W. Johnson (Tricia), Heather Caruso (Jonathan), Phillip Johnson (Rebecca), Addie Patterson (Alan), Fernando Lopez (Roberta), Andrew Lopez, John Lopez (Selena), Walter Wright, Shad Lopez and Casey Lopez. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church School.
