She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Medina and Sara Medina; her husband Philip; her daughter Janie; and her siblings, Anastacia Medina and Mel T. Medina.
She is survived by: her children, Philip Villarreal of Victoria, Irene Villarreal of San Antonio and Addie Ortiz (David) of Victoria; and her grandchildren, Adriana Castellano (John) and Derek Ortiz (Brandy). She is also survived by four great-grandchildren; and numerous niece, nephews and extended family.
