It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Dortch Sr. of Bedias, Texas, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on November 23, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Minnie Belle Sirles Dortch and Millard Wesley Dortch. He is survived by: his wife Clara Merrill Dortch; his children, Clara Evans (Nelson), Valerie Mouhot, Nonie Powers and Quint Dortch Sr. (Florence); his sister Colleen; and his pet Midget. He is also survived by numerous granddaughters, grandsons, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
