He is survived by: his wife Sue Ellen; and his children, Lori Koop, Kara Rosen (Steve), Sandy Meissner (Kirk), Valarie Lawrence (Wade), Gary Koop (Laura), David Midkiff (Nicole), Kristen Ballard and Kami Weinstein (Joshua). He is also survived by his 23 grandchildren.
