She was predeceased by: her parents, Byron Dewitt and Mary Lizzie Jones Durden; her former husband Wilmer W. Clayton (Bill); her parents-in-law, George Clayton and Lola Snow; and her sisters, Dorothy (Helmus Schwettmann), Kathryn (Leslie Clayton) and Edwina (Lloyd Thomas).
She is survived by: her daughter Shirley Jean Clayton of Magnolia, TX. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
