She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde S. Absher and Edna Oletha Absher; and her brother Michael Absher. She is survived by: her husband Edward Hajek; her children, Jeanne (Joe Whisenant), Connie Hawley, Stephanie (Matt Szabo), Jennifer (Ken Compton) and Jerrine Absher (Laura Lopez); her sister Sharon Moshier; and her grandchildren, Amanda Whisenant, Virginia, Cory James, Kerry Parsons, Mattie, Ted DeVries, Sarah Rawls, Dorothy Absher, Tiffany, Steven Carr, Perry Mitchell, Makenna Szabo, Ashton Szabo, Jacob and Sara Jackson. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
