He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Chris Johnston (Chris) and Ruth Helen Johnston of Bedford, TX; his grandparents, Horace and Plumma Frank of Haslet, TX; his brother Chris W Johnston of Justin, TX; his niece Gina Minette Griggs of Arlington, TX; and his pets, Molly and Ranger.
He is survived by: his daughters, Stefanie Ann and Erica Lynn; his wife Sherry Johnston; his sons-in-law, Bill Pogue of Keller, TX and Wayne Neufeld of Prineville, OR; his grandsons, Chase LaFleur, Tyler LaFleur, Nathan Pogue, Collin Pogue of Keller, TX, Jacob, Benjamin and Lucas Neufeld of Prineville, OR; his sister Marilou Metke of Bellaire Beach, FL; his siblings-in-law, Linda Johnston of Justin, TX and Don (Kim Brewer) of Fort Worth, TX; and also, Buddy, Carolyn Williams of Wadena, MN, Rick and Cynthia Shelly of Norton, OH. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great nephews, and even a great-great niece.
