She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Schaefer and Lola Schaefer; her husband John Harris; her brothers, Gene Schaefer and Joe Schaefer; and her niece Sherry Schaefer.

She is survived by: her children, Tim, Ted Harris and Holly Malloy; her sister Gloria Moser; and her grandchildren, Nikolas and Scout Harris.
