Leroy Cecil Lawrence Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leroy Cecil Lawrence of Bedford, Texas, born in Fort Worth, Texas, who passed away on January 4, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends.
Cecil enjoyed living life. He was thrilled to travel and made great memories on many trips all around the country. Cecil enjoyed watching old movies, funny sitcoms, and college football. He loved coaching his daughters’ softball teams when they were kids. He had the best time eating lunch with his girls at school. Cecil was always there to support his kids and grandkids at their sporting events, choir, band concerts, plays, and other activities. He was a great Dad and Pawpaw.
Cecil is preceded in death by his parents, Foy Lee Lawrence and Rose Marie Baker, and his son-in-law, Mark Cochran.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Linda, his sister Kerry Howard, brother-in-law Jim, his brother Jack Lawrence, sister-in-law Mary, his daughters Kristi, Julie, and Shannon and two sons-in-law, his grandchildren Nathan, Corey, Cole, Summerlea, Reagan, and Abigail, his three stepsons, John, Greg, and Steven, and their wives plus an additional 13 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks to make donations in Cecil’s name to the American Heart Association.
