She was predeceased by: her parents, George Davis Byrom and Leta Faye Byrom (Payne); her husband Marvin Delois Hewitt Jr.; and her siblings, Bobby, Leslie and Janice Lyons.
She is survived by: her friends, Marvin and Joy; her granddaughter Francesca Hewitt; her daughter-in-law Suzanne Hewitt; her brother-in-law Kenneth Lyons; her nieces, Kelly Lyons and Stacy Cortesano (Derek); her great-nieces, Susie, Bella and Olivia; and her great-nephew Luca Cortesano. She is also survived by extended family and lifelong friends.
