He is survived by: his wife Karen Elaine Fleeman of Bedford, Texas; his brother Jamie Fleeman of Canton, Georgia; his daughters, Emily Bates (Brandon Bates) of Forney, Savanna Dowdy of Bedford and Ashlee Dowdy of Bedford, Texas; his grandchildren, Sterling Bates, Annalee Bates, Landry Bates of Forney, Caiden Douglas and Alex Contreras of Bedford, Texas; his niece Brandy Fleeman of Canton; and his nephew Jarod Young of Canton.
